I had a great time photographing Carla and Matthew’s wedding on the 3rd of December!

I love photographing in the Canadian Club Brand Centre – there is so many different spaces inside to use and be creative with that it’s probably my favourite indoor venue in the Windsor area!

I love small intimate ceremonies – Tracy and Roberts was just that at the Essex Golf Club.

As it wasn’t their first marriage for either the order of things were a tad untraditional with us taking photos firs before the ceremony. Off to Lakeside Park in Kingsville on a cold blustery day…thanks guys for letting me be apart of a wonderful joyous occasion in your lives.

Erin + Chad | 10 22 11

Still finding the time to catch up on my awesome 2011 weddings here on the blog. This time round is the fun couple of Erin and Chad!

I photographed their daughter a couple time prior to the wedding so when it came to the actual day of the ceremony she was used to me and what I did. Which for a little who like the camera was good!

Lots of unique details to their wedding – a trolly instead of a limo, a simple but different signature drink at the reception. The list goes on. I love photographing the details that my couples spend so much time on getting just right for their day. These details are what make every wedding unique and different!

Willistead Manor; Windsor ON

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone.
Since we are still in midst of the holiday season, though Christmas has past, I thought I’d share an assignment I had with my local magazine I photograph for (THE DRIVE magazine). The assignment was to photograph one of Windsor’s very historic buildings built back when the horse was still the main for of transportation.

Willistead Manor is a place I have photographed numerous weddings and wedding parties. But this time round was to show off the beauty of the Manor decorated for the holidays.

Greg and I met each other from a mutual friend who I played softball with; Ryan McNorton. I photographed Ryan’s wedding a few years prior. So over a season of softball with Greg, I got to know him quit well and I was looking forward to photographing his and Maureen’s wedding.

Fall is always the time of year when my computer work starts to back up and get the better of me…somedays it feels like if I was working 20 hrs a day it still wouldn’t make a difference.

Thankfully it isn’t like this year round and I can finally start blogging again. My last post was an awesome wedding from Cape Breton and this post is from a lovely couple who brought me to New York City last December for their engagement photos.

Jessica + Mark – Port Hood, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

It’s always nice to photograph a wedding in a different location than my hometown. So when I get a chance to head east to Cape Breton Island where my wife’s family is originally from I enjoy it even more!

Jessica and Mark live and work out west like most young Capers these days. So that day was the first time I got to meet them both. By the end of the night I knew them and their wedding party quit well.

My highlight was the hidden beach we all went to for photos. The setting couldn’t have been more to my liking!

CIBC Run for the Cure; Oct 2nd 2011, Windsor ON

Another year; another HUGE success for WIndsor’s CIBC Run for the Cure. Below is a small snap shot of the photos taken at this years event at the new waterfront stage. There were over 2500 participants at this years event raising close to $250000!! Congrats to everyone’s hard work and effort. Lets make next year even better!!
